days in Dayaodi.

Woke up @ 7AM to prepare myself with the rest of the team mates for breakfast.
It was super bright @ 6AM and I thought it was time to wake up.
Wash up and used their toilet for the first time.
It is really different from Singapore- No door, flush and everyone is to share one toilet.
It is an open public toilet.

Had our delicious breakfast prepared by our villagers chef ;p
In every breakfast, never fail we will have eggs on the table.
There were eggs, milk, pumkim porridge and vegetable.
It is different from Singapore culture

Soon we got to do our 'morning exercise' which is climbing the mountain.
I guess it's my first experience and it's really tough as we got to be very careful with our steps.
I was not able to catch my breathe.
Luckily we made it to the top and took lot of nice pictures.
It was difficult to make our way back :( I was scared.
But my friends looked after me. Thank You friends ;)

Soon we had our welcome lunch from the villagers.
There were white wine being offered and I refused to drink it.
Some of them drink and was drunk.
Had a crisis meeting regarding our project, settle down and had our meeting.
Ended early and had my afternoon nap as there were nothing that need to be done.
A slack day HAHA ;)

The evening time @ 6PM seem like Singapore 9PM.
The sky was so dark and it was really cold.
Hid in my room after dinner.
Wash up with wet tissue and change under my blanket.
*shy shy* hehe.

Thought for the day: God knew us before He created all the sky, sea and mountains.
What's more He knew my future before I was born.
I have witnessed His beautiful creation, the mountains.

His creation is simply wonderful ;)

A trip which brings a difference.

2 weeks have gone and I am back in Singapore.
Still remembering the week spent preparing myself for the trip,
getting the necessary items and spending time with my dear friends.
Left Singapore on 27 Sep, 4.40AM from home and
make my way to Changi Airport.
Really grateful that my friend and parent agreed to company me there.
Reflected while I was on my way ;)
(why did I choose to go? will life change when I am back?)

Reach airport and met up with the team.
My friend left and I was left alone with the team.
Felt a little empty at first but I know there are more things to expect.
Send my farewell to the different ones and began to miss the different ones ;p
My little sister teared and I was shocked.
Encourage her to mug hard for her N Level, believing that she will do well;)
Her tears simply melt my heart because it shows how close we were despite the quarrels.

Finally it was time to check-in. My heart began to ponder faster.
I was a little reluctant to go off.
Make my last phone call to the different ones and
a simple prayer to Daddy God.

There were two trip of plane flight before we could reach Shanxi, China.
Took our first flight to Guangzhou, consume our breakfast- Seafood Noodles and rested.
Admire the universe, sky and clouds while I was in the plane.
Reached Guangzhou in the afternoon and waited for the next flight.
It kept on delaying and it really showed how different China is as compared to Singapore ;p
Wondered around and tried the Mac in airport. Their Mac Spicy is really "WOW".
Before boarding our second flight, we took a bus and make our way up to the plane.
Ate the egg noodles and slept once again.

Finally we reached our destination, Taiyuan @ 7PM.
Took a 2HR land transportation to the city area and had our 'last dinner'
The dishes were delicious and unique as compared to Singapore.

Had another an hour ride to Dayaodi Village. Reached @ 12 Midnight.
The wind was beating hard and I was freezing.
Felt really weak when I came down from the bus.
It was so cold and I was not prepared. but I managed to pull through by hiding in the room;p

The girls and boys share a room each where there are double bed.
My sleeping partner is Jolene;p and we slept at the right of the corner.
That marked my first day in China;)

It has left a deep mark in my life ;p
